Expectations

Ok so, in chemistry today I was thinking about stereotypes and expectations. When we were toddlers it was socially acceptable to crawl instead of walk and cry to demand something. Now if I was to cry it would be because I was upset and if now I was to crawl I would be thought of as stupid, weird and looked down on.

And when we were starting school it was cool to have our hair in bunches or play happy families. Now if I was to wear my hair in bunches people would laugh and judge me. And if I was to play families, well we can imagine what everyone would think :P

What I am trying to say is that we should let go a bit. Be less worried about what people would think and more on what we want to think. When we were younger we were free and not worried about anything or anyone.

  1. We all have expectations of each other, we might have known this person for a life time or even a second, so when these expectations are broken or not followed why do we treat them differently? In my eyes, we should treat people for who and whatever they are, because if we dont we will never really know them for who they really are!

    1. I agree, this is a very nice comment thank you. I don't see why people have to be judged.
